PRESS RELEASE The Hague, 27 November 2018
Dutch cyber security company Cybersprint has raised € 2M in a Series A Funding round. The financing is provided by lead-investor Vortex Capital Partners, returning investor InnovationQuarter, and KPN Ventures. Cybersprint will invest the funds to keep developing its product portfolio and team, and continue its expansion throughout Europe.
From 9 to 11 October, Cybersprint participated in the it-sa 2018, Europe’s leading trade fair for IT security. Along with the three-day event, CEO Pieter Jansen accompanied the Dutch king and queen in the German trade mission to Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. The goal was to make a serious market entry in Germany. The many activities during the it-sa and the German trade mission gave the team of Cybersprint the possibility to present themselves well, which resulted in a broadened German network and a promising entrance in the German market for Cybersprint.
From 9-11 October 2018, Cybersprint will be present at the it-sa, Europe’s leading trade fair for IT security. At our Cybersprint stand, we will offer interested visitors a free 1-to-1 Quickscan of their organisation and a demo of our Digital Risk Monitoring platform. You can find our stand at the expo in Hall 10.0 / 10.0-423 in the Holland IT Secuity House. Moreover, our CISO Cynthia Schouten will give two presentations on the importance of knowing your organisation’s digital footprint. At the same time Cybersprint will participate in a German trade mission.
The first week of October traditionally the Dutch Cyber Security Week (CSW) is organised in the municipality of The Hague. Several independently initiated and organised events guarantee that the first week of October is all about cyber security in its most varied aspects. Cybersprint participates in various cyber security initiatives.
